In my class, you can expect: to have FUN while you workout! You will be encouraged to challenge yourself to get the most out of your workout and also motivated to find joy in your workout, too – shake, smile, sweat, and maybe sing along to some fun music together. 

What sort of music can people expect in your class? I am a major country music fan, but I know most people don’t enjoy working out to it. I mostly love to play pop remixes and throwbacks, maybe a little hip-hop too. Mostly upbeat songs to get you feeling motivated and excited to be there! 

If I was an ice cream flavour, I’d be:  Salted Caramel, specifically from Village Ice Cream in Calgary. 

Breakfast, lunch or dinner?  Probably breakfast AND dinner (definitely not lunch). I can never pass up brunch or dinner with friends or family! 

Bird, cat, dog, goldfish, hamster, or pot belly pig?  The only pet I’ve ever had growing up was a goldfish that I creatively named ‘Goldie’, but if I had to choose I would definitely pick dogs! I’ve always wanted to get a boy golden retriever and name it Tucker. One day! 

When I’m not instructing at Lagree: (or at work) I’m honestly probably relaxing on the couch reading a good book or spending time with my friends, family or boyfriend. I also love to go for walks or runs, golf, swim, hike, or spend time in the mountains. If I’m travelling, I’m probably going to visit my sister in Vancouver. I love going out to the West Coast!

You probably didn’t know that:  I spent 15 years as a dancer growing up in Calgary, and became a dance teacher after I graduated (my childhood dream). I loved being a dancer/dance teacher and I have found that it has really translated similarly with instructing Lagree for me. You will probably catch me dancing around the room while teaching classes! 🙂
